Refresh to Stay Fresh – Refreshing Documentation

The EMR provides clinicians the ability to update the patients chart in real time and from anywhere within the Northern Health network, including via “FollowMe”.

It is important to always ensure you are reviewing the most recent information for your patient so a it is good practice to refresh the patient chart prior to performing a patient review or signing off on any documentation for the patient such as Discharge Summaries.

Refreshing can pull through more recently documented information to the patient chart or document e.g. Newly added Provisional Diagnosis.
